Every day of our lives is like a garden. It requires care, attention, and protection. If we never weed, till, or water our gardens they will become so overgrown until we won't know our planted treasures from the clutter. The weeds, being equal to life's distractions, and the flowers, being the people and activities that deserve our planned and prioritized efforts, cannot peacefully co-exist. Our lives are worth every moment we can take to plan our days, organize our thoughts, master faith over our fears, and contribute love to a world in need. Take time every day to plan and think ahead about the ways in which you can extend the life of your treasures and rid yourself of the unnecessary fodder that would steal time and opportunity if left unchecked. Even say out loud, "My time is valuable because it is the conduit through which my life flows. My life is valuable because of how I cherish my time."
