I NEED A DEEP MAN

I need a deep man
A man who will look into the mirror and diagnose his own
shit
I need a someone who will not be afraid to sit
and talk with me as I deliberate over my day of chaotic
prose
I need a deeper man who will not be afraid of the word DEEP
A man who will open his heart to the transforming power of the
totality of what God has for him to embrace within this woman who is as deep as
the Nile and can swim it too...
I need a deep man who can run his fingers through my nappy
hair and not whence at cottony softness that embellishes this crown
He has to be deeper than me to contain this heart that
dreams of a life poured into a cast iron skillet and fried up to perfection
These thighs are not small or improperly structured to fit
around his
But they are perfection as God has molded me to him
Yes, he has to be deep and not afraid of his own greatness
or mine
Deeper...
It is only a state of freedom and he must be deeply free...
to be with me...
